Never miss any of the fun stuff. We have more newsletters. A woman who vanished from Notting Hill Carnival has been found in hospital days later as the plot thickens over her disappearance.
Patricia Araujo travelled to London last weekend for the occasion but disappeared without a trace. Her friends and family hadn't seen her since she left her home in Ashford, in Kent, to attend the famous three-day event.
It led to fears that she was kidnapped after she told her family she would return that same night but never did. Patricia, 26, told her family she was "having fun" at around midday on Sunday August With no word since she's now been found in a hospital bed. For more great news from the Daily Star, click here. At the time of her going missing, the Portugal native's family said it was "very out of character" as they scoured London in search of her.
That search was called off on Friday August 30 when she was discovered getting medical treatment some 40 miles away. Admitted to Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, the hotel receptionist's family has been appealing to social media for help over her whereabouts and reported her as a missing person to police. Both Kent Police and the Met Police had been searching for her. A stranger's video footage showed Patricia's last movements at Notting Hill Carnival wearing a brown dress with a black jacket tied around her waist and black shoes.
